How to setup an iTunes Development Account for the Passport (White-label Mobile App)

To publish a version of the Passport (White-label Mobile App) for members under your name and organisation, you need to follow a few steps to get your iTunes development account.

The White-label Passport incurs an additional charge of $/£/€150 per month for up to 5 locations.

To eliminate any problems setting up your accounts with Apple:

  • You will need a D-U-N-S Number. The D-U-N-S Number is a unique nine-digit number that identifies business entities on a location-specific basis. For more information, visit the https://developer.apple.com/support/D-U-N-S/ page.

  • When you set up your iTunes Developer account, enroll as an Organization.

Step 1: Enroll an Apple Developer Account with a new or existing Apple ID

You will need an Apple ID with which your new Apple Developer account will be associated.

Apple charges an annual $99 fee for your developer account.

  1. Read through the checklist of items required before enrolling. The required items are, you must enrol as an Organization and have a D-U-N-S Number.

  2. Enter your Apple ID or click on Create Apple ID to create one.

  3. Select the appropriate option under Entity Type which is Company/Organization. then select Continue.

  4. Important: Apple requires you to sign up as a Company/Organization in order to be able to support multiple users, and is therefore a requirement for the MiGym deployments platform. As such, you will require a DUNS number.

  5. Enter the required Contact Information, read through the license agreement and click Continue.

  6. Verify the information that you've entered and click Continue.

  7. Review the purchase details and click Purchase.

  8. You will then be directed to a Sign In page, where you will be asked to enter your Apple ID credentials.

  9. Enter the necessary billing information and select Continue.

Step 2: Inviting Nexudus to your iTunes Connect account

  1. Sign in using your newly created Apple ID.

  2. On the iTunes Connect homepage, click Users and Roles.

  3. Enter the individual’s user information, and click Next. First name: Nexudus Last name: Developer Email address: pubstuff@gmail.com

Step 3: Provide us with the branding assets.

To make the app look like your own app, we will need some branding material from you. Namely:

  1. The icon for the app: 1024x1024px PNG image with no rounded borders or transparency layers.

  2. A banner image for the app store as a 1024 width x 500 height in pixels

  3. Portrait image for app login page (no set dimensions, automatically adjusted for screen size)

  4. Short name for the App.

  5. A description of less than 80 characters (not words).

  6. A long description.

  7. The hex/CSS code for the primary, secondary and tertiary colors to be used in the app icons and buttons.

  8. URL for Marketing Website.

  9. URL for Contact Page.

  10. URL for privacy policy.

It can take up to 4 weeks for your white label app customization to be available for customers to download.
