PayPal

PayPal lets your members pay for their invoices directly using their PayPal account or a credit or debit card.

How does PayPal work?

Users will be directed to a PayPal hosted page where they will enter their details.

Enabling IPN messages

In order for PayPal to issue a notification to our servers every time there is payment, you need to enable IPN messages on your PayPal account.

  1. Log in to your PayPal account at https://www.paypal.com/.

  2. In the top navigation menu, click Profile.

  3. In the bottom part of the screen, locate a link Instant Payment Notification Preferences.

  4. If your IPN settings are disabled you should see a button with the text Choose IPN Settings. Click this button.

  5. In the notification URL type https://platform.nexudus.com.

  6. Select Receive IPN messages (Enabled).

  7. Click Save.

To enable payments via PayPal

  1. In the side menu, click Settings.

  2. Click Payments.

  3. Under the Payments heading, click Payment methods.

  4. In the Available Payment Gateways section, click PayPal.

  5. Set Enabled to Yes, and select any other settings that you want to apply

  6. In the text boxes, type your email address and Pdt identity.

  7. Click Save changes.

Important: Integrating a Payment Gateway on Nexudus Spaces would incur an extra cost of $10/month + $0.04/transaction.

Entering the payment details

Once you've enabled the PayPal integration, coworkers can pay their invoices via their private areas on the space website or configure their payment details so that they are charged automatically when invoices are created. They can do so in the Billing section of their private area, clicking the Pay by card button that directs them to a PayPal window.
