# How to access the Nexudus Spaces API

With the Nexudus Spaces Application Programming Interface (API), you can implement additional features or connect with external providers.

#### Enabling API access for users

1. 2. In the side menu, click [**Settings**](< https://platform.nexudus.com/settings>).
3. Click [**Users and security**](https://platform.nexudus.com/settings/userssecurity) at the bottom of the page.
4. Click the name of the user to whom you want to grant API access.&#x20;
5. In the **Access** section, select the **API access** checkbox.&#x20;
6. Click **Save changes**.&#x20;
