# Default payment method

You can specify which payment method will be used by default for new customers.

### To set a default payment method for new customers 

1. 2. In the side menu, click [**Settings**](https://platform.nexudus.com/settings).
3. Click [**Payments**](https://platform.nexudus.com/settings/payments).
4. Under the Payments heading, click **Payment methods**.
5. In the drop-down list, select the default payment method for new customers.
6. Click **Save changes**.
