# Email Server
By default the Nexudus servers will deliver all emails from the system.
In the email server section you can:
* Set the **From** name on outgoing emails
* Set the **Reply to** email address on outgoing emails
* Enable a blind carbon copy (bcc) of every message to be sent to you or to a specified email address
We recommend you use the Nexudus servers to deliver emails (the default setting). However, you can use your own SMTP server, such as Gmail or Outlook.
### To edit email notification settings
1. If the side menu is not visible, click 
.
2. In the side menu, click [**Settings**](https://platform.nexudus.com/settings).
3. Scroll down to **Communications** and click [**Email Server**](https://platform.nexudus.com/settings/emailserver).
4. In the **email notifications settings** section, make the necessary changes.
5. Click **Save Changes**.
### To use your own email server
1. If the side menu is not visible, click .
2. In the side menu, click [**Settings**](https://platform.nexudus.com/settings).
3. Scroll down to **Communications** and click [**Email Server**](https://platform.nexudus.com/settings/emailserver).
4. In the **advanced email server settings** section, set **Use Nexudus servers to delivery email** to **No**. Four text boxes are then displayed.
5. In the text boxes type:
1. SMTP server address
2. SMTP port number
3. SMTP server username
4. SMTP server password
6. Click **Save Changes**.
