# Using different tax rates

You can apply different tax rates for each of the products, plans, booking rates and passes that you sell.‌

### Setting different taxes for different items <a href="#setting-different-taxes-for-different-items" id="setting-different-taxes-for-different-items"></a>

2. In the side menu click [**Finance**](https://platform.nexudus.com/finance), then click [**Tax Rates**](https://platform.nexudus.com/finance/taxrates/products).
3. At the top of the list, click the appropriate item type (Products, **Plans**, **Booking rates** or **Passes**).
4. Next to the item whose tax rate you want to change, click **Change.**
5. Select the tax rate from the drop-down list (see the image below). The tax rate for that item is immediately changed.
