# About surveys

Surveys are a tool to gain insights to better serve the needs of your customers.

A survey is the process of collecting, aggregating, and analyzing the responses from a set of questions. From the dashboard, you can easily create a survey to help gain feedback and insights into the customer experience at your location.

Surveys are sent to all customers with **active contracts**.

Note: Only **team members with active contracts** will be sent a survey.
