# Configuring reCAPTCHA

How to configure reCAPTCHA to work with your Nexudus account.

To use reCAPTCHA in conjuction with your Nexudus account, you need to do the following:

2. [Set the key up in your Nexudus account settings](/platform/settings/integrations-and-apps-1/other-integrations/configuring-recaptcha.md#to-configure-a-recaptcha-key-in-your-nexudus-account)

### To get a reCAPTCHA key

1. If the side menu is not visible, click <img src="https://3743897482-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-legacy-files/o/assets%2F-Lbh_u87wC7EAH8sHaxc%2F-Li8CzI_wW9MFOVR8udd%2F-Li8D5GrhOIcbhMDzQw8%2Fhamburguer.svg?alt=media&amp;token=26002cf1-c214-48d7-87a2-3c4f5cd394f4" alt="" data-size="line"> .
2. In the side menu, click [**Settings**](https://platform.nexudus.com/settings).
3. In the **Apps and integrations** section, click [**Integrations**](https://platform.nexudus.com/settings/integrations).
4. In the **Active integrations** section, click **Recaptcha**.
5. Click **Get Recaptcha key**. The link redirects you to the Google reCAPTCHA site registration form.
6. In the **Label** textbox, type a name to identify your site.
7. In the **reCAPTCHA type** section, **select reCAPTCHA v2**.
8. In the **Domains** section, type the address of your location's website. You can look up this information in [**Settings -> Website -> Domain**](https://platform.nexudus.com/settings/website/additionaldomains). See this article for more information on [adding your own domain](/platform/settings/website/setting-up-your-own-domain-on-nexudus.md).
9. In the **Owners** section, type the email address of the person or people who manage the website.
10. Select the **Accept the reCAPTCHA Terms of Service** checkbox.
11. **Optional**: Select the **Send alerts to owners** checkbox if you want to notify the managers when problems with site traffic arise.
12. Click **SUBMIT**.

You can now copy the site and secret keys to your Nexudus account.

### To configure a reCAPTCHA key in your Nexudus account

1. 2. In the side menu, click **Settings**.
3. In the **Apps and integrations** section, click **Integrations**.
4. In the **Active integrations** section, click **Recaptcha**.
5. In the **Site key/public key** textbox, paste the reCAPTCHA site key.
6. In the **Private key** textbox, paste the reCAPTCHA secret key.
