Proposal can have 3 optional documents. These documents are presented to the customers at different stages during the proposal lifetime.
The proposal marketing file is a static file (not based on a document template) that will be presented to the customers viewing the proposal online. It is presented as a link under the description of the proposal.
Marketing files must be PDF files.
This document is based on a document template and will be converted to a PDF document and presented to customers in the proposal review screen, which they will get a link to when you send the proposal.
When you select a document template for a proposal, we will use the the contents of the template to produce the PDF document. If you have used any merge fields, we will replace those with the details of the customer and the proposal.
You can customise this document for each individual proposal by clicking on "Launch Document Editor" in the details of the proposal. When you do this, the content presented to the customer will be specific to this proposal and will no longer use the base template.
If you change a proposal to use a different document template, any changes you may have made to the document for that specific proposal will be lost.
You must enable the paid integration, HelloSign in Settings -> Integrations -> Digital Signature in order to use digital signatures.
This document is based on a document template and will be converted to a PDF document and asked to be signed by the customer after the proposal is accepted either using the link customers get when you send them the proposal or when you mark, as an administrator, the proposal as accepted.
When you select a document template for a proposal, we will use the the contents of the template to produce the PDF document. If you have used any merge fields, we will replace those with the details of the customer and the proposal.
The HelloSign integration incurs a cost of $/£/€15/month + $/£/€0.50 per request after 30th signature once enabled.
