# Configuring your own domain in Nexudus

How to add a domain on Nexudus.

### Adding a business domain

1. If the side menu is not visible, click <img src="https://3743897482-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-legacy-files/o/assets%2F-Lbh_u87wC7EAH8sHaxc%2F-LcviPQcMDtpl2_Z59Dv%2F-LcvkaY_1pZZ-Skwc2EC%2Fhamburguer.svg?alt=media&amp;token=d821ff24-4695-49c1-9013-00eb620acfbd" alt="" data-size="line"> .
2. In the side menu, click [**Settings**](https://platform.nexudus.com/settings).
3. In the **Features** section, click [**Website**](https://platform.nexudus.com/settings/website).
4. From the list of tabs, click **Domain**.
5. Click **Add business domain**.
6. In the **Name** text box, type a user-friendly name for the new domain.
7. If you manage more than one space, select the space for which you want to add the new domain from the **Location** drop-down list.
8. In the **URL** text box, type the URL address of the domain.
9. **Optional**: If you use a reverse proxy to handle SSL connections, set **Use** **SSL proxy** to **YES**.
10. Set **Active** to **YES** if you want the domain to be active as soon as it is added.
11. Click **Save**.

Now you need to adjust your DNS settings to finish setting up your domain. You have two options:
